If your focus is on hating the fact that Master Chief will be an easter egg in a game that is exclusive to the Xbox 360. You are an ass. That's like hating Nintendo for damn near putting the whole video game industry character base in SSMB. Think about that for a second whore. Then go kill yourself.
Anyway, point is I'm looking forward to Fable 2. The stuff that I've been reading and watching on it, has me excited to no end. I mean anyone who OWNS an Xbox 360 knows there's more...
I mean I do not see big titles for the PS3 this holiday. Which everyone and their momma knows is when consoles sell the most. We are in the summer months. I mean how many stellar titles are on store shelves right now?
Microsoft has a system that people actually play games on, and purchase them. Honestly my boy has a PS3 and has at the most 5 games worth the time to pick up and play. While I have for my 360 over 14 titles that are all quality purchases and rated over 85% or bet...
I find hilarious about Sony fanyboys is that the love to hear about thier games, developers, and system all the time. I swear we couldn't get away from the MGS4 news that was all over the place. No one called Hideo Kojima overatted, MG in general, or that his MGS titles have the most convoluted story telling of any game title ever. Yet most just chalk it up to the way Japanesse developers tell stories, or that MGS is a franchise. Nice excuse, for the same thing that Cliffy B and Epic are doin...
We welcome the haters to what is now an upgrade for Sony and PSN. I'm not being sarcastic, but the fact that people are going to care about trophies is a credit to competition. You Sony loyalists should buy a couple of beers for any Xbox 360 friend you know. 2.40 is giving you a glimpse of what means to be on the next level of gaming.
Hopefully by Christmas 2009 the PS3 experiement will be at it's peak, when I get ready to buy one. I'll be checking out my friends PS3 trophy sys...
Many of you guys don't understand that at this point the momentum for the Xbox 360 is not reliant on Microsoft's first party software. It's about branding and marketing the system for what it has, and where it is going, and who should be buying the system.
I don't even respect the PS3 argument about first party titles. Because that logic has the Nintendo Wii filled with shovelware, Sega trying to find itself. I mean history is a great teacher, and there has never been a better ...
All of the Diablos were great, but visually a bit drab in many respects for my liking. Yet all the titles had their own ambiance because of the art direction. What I think has happened with Blizzard, as a result of the success of WOW. They are keeping things a bit uniform. So that people picking up Diablo 3 will see something familar, yet different from their WOW expeirence. I would assume this for players who have never touched a Diablo title. Which if you take a look at WOW players, could b...
Is dying because the model for it's advancement is outdated. Simple as that. You have consoles that can relatively compete, and in some cases have better titles than the PC. A game like Diabolo 3 looks so undeniably doable on the PS3, and 360. Had the Wii been a bit more powerful I would say hands down that would be the best console fit, because it would retain many of the aspects of the PC version.
As for me, I'm going to play Diabolo 3 anywhere I can. I like many others abor...
I was thinking the same thing about the enviornments and character shots so far. Looking very bland, at the moment. The great thing is that they have time to get it right. Similar to Star Wars Force Unleashed. Which now looks incredible. So there's hope. As for the gameplay these guys have done some great work, so I know the pedigree to create something compelling is there. Sega may have a hit and a new indiependent developer to champion them back into the limelight.
this article is the perfect example of why Nintendo misses the mark at times. They don't know how to grow their audience. When you introduce something brand new it goes through the phase of being the newie, and gooiee. Yet at some point, you have to start to grow up. Nintendo never learned how to grow up.
So here you have the mighty Wii doing some amazing things in terms of bringing in the casual gamer. Yet you have no idea what the future can look like, or rather too much won'...
With physical media like Blu-Ray as it stands is price. For two Blu movies I could have Xbox live subscription paid off, and rent two movies in an hour. That is cost savvy for me, I'm not big on clutter and owning piling plastic cases. I rather them continue make strides with DD, because the Ipod has shown people rather have convience and piece of mind to have access. Sometimes quality takes time to catch up...PSN anyone?
Even before this update we heard the insane lie, that PSN was better than Live, and it did what live could do for free? Please, this is the reason why I don't own a PS3. Not because of any other reason than Sony being late with EVERYTHING.
You Sony fanboys are pathetic, how long have you been playing your system? How long have you had to go without features that sure you pay for on the Xbox live, but are so valuable to what makes the online experience so fun and enjoyable. Sony...
Microsoft is getting the systems of your choice, and at a damn good price range. I'm definetly finally jumping for one...Waited long enough...I would love for it to be Wifi, HDMI, Jasper,Xboxwiimote...All in the box...yeah I'd go for that...
Win any game of the year awards, graphical achievement awards, how was the game play? Because based on Metacrtitc it still didn't touch Gears of War on any level. There maybe people who prefer playing the game more than Gears, but that's their own taste. Yet when we factor in well over 20 different sources, gamers, and the industry. Fanboys assesment of Uncharted being better visually than Gears of War 1. Is an untrue fact, supported by it's score numbers and sales. Like Bill Parcells said. &...
To me is how you improve on something that was already a gem? It's not like most PS3 games where they are lackluster to begin with, so any type of progress looks monumental to the first. Yet, with that being the case it baffles me that these fanboys have the balls to speak on Gears 1 or 2. I'm pretty sure that when you fire up Gears 2 on your Xbox 360 you are going to notice the difference immediately. Just to add vigor to my argument, I just popped in Gears 1. I swear, had I not been seeing ...
If you think the second game screen shots are not a vast improvement then you are on crack. Simple as that. Just taking a look at the environments, buildings, lighting, color, textures the game is already ahead of the first. Which by all intents and purposes was/is one of the best looking games of this generation. If you are a PS3 fanboy with a grudge, you don't count.
Here's why?
The PS3 has never had a title that looks or plays as good as Gears of War 1. If you...
Microsoft should absolutely buy Sega. People have to understand just like the housing market, or even stocks. You purchase not when they are hot, but when they have the potential to go up. Sega despite it's years of woe, is incredible video game asset to have. They portfolio of games is remarkable. What Sega needs and no-one seems to see, or say this is they need new development blood to take over the company. Most of their best talent has gone. Take a look at the folks creating "Mad Wor...
Does it even matter if MGS4 comes out for the Xbox 360? We are in the middle of June, in a year that will have Fable 2, Gears of War 2 and other titles during the fall, plus episodic content for GTA4. The PS3 needed MGS4, Sony loyalist were starting to forget what great gaming is. 360 gamers have been spoiled. Just look at metacritic. There's nothing to talk about.
What I will say is that Hideo Kojima did a great job with the PS3. Like someone said it was a long development cycl...
With most of the logic from the haters. Microsoft is not talking about a new system is specualation by people who want to spread that propaganda of them doing so. You can cash out when you are winning, and in many respects why should they? Sony does not pose a threat, not with games, and the hardware has still yet to show us how much better it is compared to the 360. People who like to point to unreliable hardware need to go flip over there PS2's, or find some old optical drives. Cause I saw ...
Far I'm going to whole heartedly agree. Folks keep talking about FF13, but Final Fantasy can't be the only rpg out there worth playing or waiting for. The PS2 is/was the King, and this is a new generation. So in that respect with all the rpg's already on the xbox 360 and the ones coming out. Hands down the 360 has the competition beat at the moment.
Haters will go to any lengths to continue to use RROD as an excuse to bash the Xbox 360. Microsoft did cut corners, but I'm not about to say they could not have made the Xbox 360 a bit more reliable. The first Xbox was damn tank. Never had a problem with it.
Since Haters want to point out RROD. Let me ask this question. Did you ever get a warranty for your PS2 with it numerous malfunctions? No you did not. In fact I know many people who had to flip theirs over like damn pancake, ...
